Place the suspects
Each row and column holds exactly one person. Every placement closes possibilities elsewhere on the board.
Case file № 001 / iPhone
Detective Sudoku crosses killer sudoku logic with a murder mystery: place every suspect on the grid, prove every alibi, and close the unsolved case.
The method
No sums. No guesswork. Just a room plan and a line of truthful suspects.
Each row and column holds exactly one person. Every placement closes possibilities elsewhere on the board.
Use rooms, walls, directions and furniture. A suspect may mislead by omission, but never by lying.
The victim was alone with one other person. Solve the grid; whoever shares that room did it.
Evidence log
Every system in Detective Sudoku is designed to make deduction visible. The game knows not only the answer, but why the answer follows.
Hints name the clue, the suspect and the positions it rules out. You keep control of the investigation.
Every case is checked by the same constraint solver that powers the hints. A second solution never reaches your desk.
Cases vary in layout, clue mix and deduction depth. Difficulty reflects the techniques needed, not a timer.
The entire investigation lives on your iPhone. There is no login, no tracking and no interruption between clues.
