Agreement and Apple’s Standard EULA
Detective Sudoku is distributed through Apple’s App Store. The app is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom end-user license agreement is provided in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app. These product-specific terms supplement that agreement and do not replace rights that cannot legally be excluded.
If these terms conflict with Apple’s mandatory App Store terms, Apple’s terms control to the extent of that conflict.
License to use the app
Subject to these terms and Apple’s usage rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use Detective Sudoku on Apple-branded devices that you own or control.
You may use the app for personal entertainment. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute or make the app available as a separate product. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.
Offline operation and data
Detective Sudoku is an offline game. It has no user accounts, online gameplay, cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics or developer-operated network features. The developer does not collect or monitor personal information, gameplay activity, device identifiers or usage data through the app.
Game progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining access to your device and any device-level backups you choose to use. Deleting the app may delete locally stored progress according to iOS behaviour.
The app may still be downloaded and updated through Apple’s services. Apple may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy; those services are not operated by Detective Sudoku.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the app lawfully and in accordance with these terms. You must not interfere with the app’s operation, bypass technical protections, distribute unauthorized copies, or use the app or its assets in a way that infringes intellectual-property or other legal rights.
The app contains fictional murder-mystery themes. Its characters, cases and events are fictional and are provided solely as puzzle content.
Updates and availability
The developer may correct errors, adjust compatibility, add or remove cases, or otherwise update the app. Continued compatibility can depend on Apple hardware, iOS versions and App Store availability. The developer does not guarantee that every version will remain available indefinitely or work with future operating-system releases.
Because the app has no online gameplay or developer-operated service, there is no hosted game account or cloud service to terminate. Your license may nevertheless end if you materially breach these terms or Apple’s applicable EULA.
Intellectual property
Detective Sudoku, including its software, puzzle systems, text, artwork, branding and bundled cases, is owned by the developer or used under permission. These terms grant permission to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of the app or its content.
Feedback or bug reports may be used to improve the app. Do not include confidential or sensitive personal information when contacting support.
Warranty and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be error-free or meet every individual requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights that apply in your country or region.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Any limitation applies only where and to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated if the app, its distribution or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply, subject to applicable law.
